Thank you for visiting the Epilepsy Association of Utah's website. This site has been designed as a resource for families and individuals in Utah who suffer from the effects of epilepsy. We aim not only to provide first aid and research information to the public, but also to offer a ray of hope to those who deal with this problem every day. We encourage you to visit the links area for other online resources as well as taking the opportunity to support the Association at one of our local events and activities.

Director's Corner

Over the last year the EAU has continued to grow and flourish. My name is Jenn Whiting and I am the new Executive Director for the Epilepsy Association of Utah. I have experience as an operations manager and specialize in organization and while I do not know a lot about the medical side of epilepsy, I am quickly learning.
During the last ten years I worked as a volunteer for the association. I enjoyed working on "Crop Because You Care," our scrapbooking fundraiser for kids with epilepsy to attend our annual summer camp.

On a personal note, I am a wife and mother of four beautiful children. I love running and doing triathlons although lately have not found the time or energy for either. I love meeting new people and have enjoyed the relationships that I have been building through the Association. As we begin a new fiscal year I want to extend an invitation to all who want to help by volunteering for the Association. We have many awareness and fundraising events planned and would love your help and support in helping raise awareness, educate the community, and bring those together to support one another.
