Understanding and Dealing with Seizure Disorders
H.O.P.E. Mentoring Program

The Epilepsy Association of Utah is committed to outstanding service in the community and as such we are happy to present the Epilepsy Foundation's Helping Other People with Epilepsy (H.O.P.E.) Mentoring Program.

As part of the program we provide trained speakers for community presentations to educate the public and help them understand more about epilepsy and it's effects. Through education they aim to improve the lives of the people who live with it. These speakers, also known as "mentors", are directly or indirectly affected by epilepsy. This service is provided at no cost to the community.

The presentations can be tailored to meet the specific needs and requirements of each group and can offer personal experience and understanding. One will leave the in-service with more knowledge and empathy.
